Istanbul host and artist Seyhan Musaoglu took the mixup to Space Debris, her wonderful contemporary gallery in Karakoy. It looks like they had a lot of fun at the opening and this weekend is the last chance before it heads to Cape Town.
Cornucopia said in their weekend gallery guide
Those of us in Istanbul have taken comfort in the fact that the art world is still chugging along, bringing us thought-provoking and uplifting exhibitions amidst the madness… This recently opened group exhibition presents collaborative art at its finest… What came out of these collaborations are some playful and unexpected pieces that speak volumes to the artistic process
If you like any of the pieces there are limited edition prints available – enquire via info[at]spacesebrisart.org
The Mixup is a global collaboration project – 41 artists from six cities getting all mixed up in each others’ creative process www.themixup.org
