I’ve found myself somewhat tangled up in poems recently, but I continue to be facinated by the literal meaning of figurative phrases. This time I got inspired by Alistair Mackenzie who is a wonderful songwriter, dear friend and beloved contributor to the Take It & Run project.
He is music to our ears. Literally. If you want his music in your ears you can download his ep The Mess We’re In for free.
Wow! Awesome tunes. This guy has great potential!
I am a university professor working on vocabulary acquisition. I’m giving a workshop to teachers and was wondering if I could obtain your permission to use some of the literal idioms in a workshop, citing you of course. Please let me know asap. Thanks
