Literal Idioms: Music To My Ears

I’ve found myself somewhat tangled up in poems recently, but I continue to be facinated by the literal meaning of figurative phrases. This time I got inspired by Alistair Mackenzie who is a wonderful songwriter, dear friend and beloved contributor to the Take It & Run project.

He is music to our ears. Literally. If you want his music in your ears you can download his ep The Mess We’re In for free.

  1. I am a university professor working on vocabulary acquisition. I’m giving a workshop to teachers and was wondering if I could obtain your permission to use some of the literal idioms in a workshop, citing you of course. Please let me know asap. Thanks
